Our initial assessments at Mobile Minds OT focus on getting to know the client and their current occupational challenges related to their hypermobility and associated diagnoses. This includes obtaining a thorough medical history and completing assessments such as the Spider Questionnaire and Canadian Occupational Performance Measure (COPM). These assessments help develop client-centered goals that inform our follow-up appointments.

$135 for 45 minutes, 
$125 for 30 minutes

  • Follow-Up Appointment - Adult - Virtual

$115 for 30 minutes

Follow-up appointments will centre around helping clients meet their goals that were determined during our initial assessment and on developing self-management strategies. This may include helping clients manage daily fatigue and complex comorbidities through tailored energy conservation, comorbidity guidance/education & flexible scheduling.

  • Home-Based Environmental Assessment (Adult or Youth)

Includes a 90 minute home-based assessment, environmental modification recommendations, trialing of adaptive equipment and a report containing all recommendations discussed.

Community-Based 
Assessments & Reports

  • School-Based Assessment (Youth)

Includes a 120 minute school-based assessment, environmental modification recommendations, consultation with school staff and a report containing all recommendations discussed.

  • Comprehensive Ergonomic Assessment (Adult/Youth)

Includes a comprehensive ergonomic assessment using the Ergonomic Tool for Arthritis (EATA) which is designed for individuals with joint pain, as well as, equipment recommendations and a detailed report provided.

  • Sensory Processing Assessment        (Adult/Youth)

Includes both a Home and Community or School Observation, interpretation of completed Sensory Processing Measure-2 and Report with recommendations.
